    Ken:

This is indeed great news!! However, I hear a rumour that Blunkett is likely to make a return to cabinet....That rather sours the good news that Jackboots has gone.

Mr Brown must be running out of candidates for his resuffled positions.....His best bet would be to call an election now and book himself into the Priory whilst it is still his own decision to make.

  2. What a good idea! Maybe he will then offer Jacqui's vacated post to his fellow inmate Susan Boyle, upon whom he was lavishing such fulsome praise the other day.

A hearty singalong with Susan would be just the thing to cheer us all up. She could tour the overcrowded prisons to soothe the savage breasts of the incarcerated chavs.

  3. Oh, I now see she won't be available - President Obama has invited her to sing at the White House for the 4th July celebrations!

At least she'll be an improvement on Aretha Franklin's caterwaulings at his inauguration.

Don't pop the champagne corks yet. The fragrant Jacqui still has her porcine face in the trough as an MP, plus her gold-plated pension to look forward to and who knows, as a good little comrade who helped deny us a vote on the constitution, maybe a nice place at the gold plated EU trough in the future.

They never loose, we continue to pay the corrupt swine.

Aretha Franklin can fart a better tune than that mental case no hoper who Gordon Brown is so concerned about. Well, I suppose as a mental case no hoper himself he has to show her some support.

    Good Riddance!

    However, as Number 6 said,
"Don't pop the champagne corks yet. Or maybe a seat in the House of Lords? You are right, however, Number 6, they do not lose. Even when they're totally incompetent, or have been caught with their hands in the till, they are hardly ever punished: au contraire, they simply retire at the next election with a fabulous pension and golden handshake, in the meantime continuing to draw their full and very attractive salary plus generous expenses. In other words, they are sticking two fingers up at the rest of us!

My dear Lord, the question now is how to really punish the wrongdoers, spivs and fraudsters that make up our 'political class.' While they make the rules for their own little cosy club (with the bigger and much more nicely furnished club in Brussels beckoning) they are hardly likely to be brought to heel.

I think a vote for none of the big three parties would be a good start at the Euros and the nationals would be a good start. A conscience vote for whatever you belive is a good one, just not one on the old party lines as their lies and thievery cannot be forgiven.

Well, I'm voting UKIP in the European elections, which was my intention anyway, before the truth about MPs expenses came to light.
In the local elections, the choice where I live is limited to Conservative, nuLabour, Liberal Democrat or Green.

Lord, that is where my vote is going too. Luckily, we have a UKIP member standing on the national level too where I live, so I don't have to choose between a cold bucket of sxxxx or a warm bucket of sxxxx which is the choice between the 'main' parties.

PS, please be awware you will be labelled a 'little Englander, nutter etc' by people who wish to preserve the status quo of the main three parties and their nannying habits and who cannot (through either tribal loyality to a given party or to sheer stupidity) see that the EU is the biggest nanny state of all.

Jacqui going is great, and Hazel Blears going is even better - every time I see her image it makes my skin crawl.

But, they'll all continue to feed from the trough one way or another. Look at Mandelson - shamed three times, resigned twice. Then got a really cushy number in Europe, then the house of Lords, and come the election - we can't even vote him out...

    Smithy,

Now why do you think that illustrious politicians like Kinnock and Mandy love the EU? Another gravy train for them when their sterling 'careers' are over here. And to think some people are fool enough to think it can be reformed and that we should stay in it - with so many snouts in the trough at Brussels who is going to reform it. Piggies do not vote for bacon sandwiches.

I have been called worse and I agree if standing up for one's country and demanding that as a soveriegn nation we make our own laws means a few sad old socialists and save the planet 'man' greens take a pop at you now and again who cares.

The numbers will tell tomorrow (unless Zanulabour get to meddle with the sealed voting boxes and I would not put that past them) and I predict Nanny in all her forms and most particulary Frau EU Nanny is going to get a good kicking.
